Hello Cheryl!! We have 77 degrees F. here right now! Have I ever waited for this weather!! Suppose to have couple of hot days ,middle of this coming week. All I did today, was damp mop. Boyd was helping our neighbor with putting up chiplap on the walls of their new room, they had built on this summer. Paul put pine on their ceiling. So pretty! They are alot younger then Boyd&I, so now is the time! Boyd's sister, Bess is not doing so well. Her sister and I cook and take it to her. I only do it once a week. Because I make enough for several days. Try to stay cool and God bless you!! Shirley

Saturday morning and I have such mixed emotions!  

It's a nice long weekend with Monday being a Labor Day Holiday!  

I only have 4 more days to work with Kelly and Jen!  Because on the 14th Stephanie will begin her journey with them.  

I'll be at home trying to figure out what graphics to send you and what stories to tell you.  

I will be outside seeing what plants need to be replaced and water the few that are still alive.  

And if the temperatures ever cool, I'll be inviting you to sit with me on the patio for a while.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

Did you enjoy the first week of September? Fall is just around the corner now. I have wanted to get fall decorations out but with the temps very hot here it will be a couple weeks yet. The thermometer said 103 last I looked!

I got an early start with mowing and it didn't take as long because some of the yard didn't need mowing with it being brown with no rain lately. It took only 2 hours instead of 3! So that gave me some time to stop in to say hi!

Good Morning Friends...I just got a message a few minutes ago from a friend, as I was getting ready to send comments that her husband passed away at 2:15 AM..The other day a classmate I am friends with her son (55) passed away...so make sure you are kind to everyone and give hugs when you able to or even a short note to just say hi...Hugs to all of you...from me..Wanda

Still hot here too. Looks like we won't see substantial cooler temps till after the 15th. Slight chance of rain this weekend. We will be traveling to see my sister in law this weekend..she lives 2 hours east of us. We were down there a year ago after my brother passed away. The year has gone by so fast. Sure will be looking forward to Fall weather.
