I'm an avid reader. I enjoy historically based fiction, science fiction, dystopian fiction and true crime stories...any kind of book really as long as the she story is good. I also enjoy some fantasy and of course the classics.
I'm a Florida girl, married to hubby for 46 yrs. I'm mom to 2 grown boys and Nana to 3 girls who light up my life. I'm a farm girl at heart and I love being in the country near all the little critters who live here. I enjoy reading, making crafts, spending time with family and friends and traveling to the beach in the Summer and the mountains in the Fall. I'm a cat lover, owl lover and cows JUST MAKE ME HAPPY! I love bright colors. ESP shades of green.
TURN ON'S
Anticipation
And so the days get shorter
and the shadows grow longer.
Summer is reluctant to leave and
the warm breeze lingers.
But the trees tell the story...
Here a red leaf, there a gold leaf
Flutters gently to the ground.
The squirrels begin their harvest,
It won't be long now.
That dragon, they would have to take with them!! Old Mcdonald had a farm!! You are so sweet to do this for them! My sister-in-law, needs prayer. She is in and out of the hospital. Draining fluid from her body. Blood clots in each of her legs lst week. I try to cook something and take to her, each week. I make enough it can last her a few days for meals. Tomatoes are almost all gone from our tiny garden, this year. Have a safe and peaceful week. Hugs Shirley
Boyd&I are well. We got all our light globes down, I washed them! Hard job for us. Boyd has to get on a ladder to unscrew them!! My sister-in-law, could certainly use your prayers! In and out of the hospital often, to drain the fluid off of her body. Remembering 9-1-1, was sad again this year and forever! Have a great and safe, new week my friend! Hugs Shirley
